The beach resort has an old-fashioned charm, but the overall experience left much to be desired. The place seems a bit rundown, and the vibes are not welcoming; it even has a slightly creepy feel, with the lingering scent of an old wooden house. The crew's demeanor was cold, and the atmosphere didn't quite match our expectations. On a positive note, our room was good, though the overall vibes of the place were not to my liking. The mismatch between the name and the actual experience is quite noticeable.
We actually had a pretty amazing stay at this resort. I was with my family, and we just love how quaint and lovely the place is. It may be a bit rundown, yes, but it has so many beautiful nooks that make you feel at home. The food in their restaurant is great, have amazing customer service, and you can swim in the pool anytime you want. Our room was pretty decent for the price, and the beach was prinstine, white and beautiful. Let me just post all the beautiful sides I found in this resort. Just love 💙
I did enjoy not just their services but most especially the ambiance and the beauty of the beach.
An old-fashioned style beach resort (not the fancy type). The place is a bit rundown, however it is nice to organise a group activity, family party or a day at the beach with basic shower facilities. In fact, I would't recommend to come here just for a relaxing day because it can get noisy with all the karaoke from each stall.
Nonetheless, there is space where one can cook his own food on wood, and even order food from the eateries. However, I would recommend to bring your own food as sanitation is not at its best, plus I heard a few comments about food being pricey. Can't say for certain as we took our own food and had a lovely day with all the family.
Furthermore, the beach is beautiful although not very deep even if you swim very far from the shore. The sand is fine & white, and on a nice day the water is crystal clear. It just happened that when we actually went there a storm was passing by so that is why the sea looks unclear in my pictures. Along the coast we also noticed a few water sports vendors, although I can't say much about them as we did not buy any of such services.
With regards to the beach, just like in most places I've visited in the Philippines, littering could be an issue if you hate seeing plastic bottles lying around. Unfortunately I got an impression that waste management & sustainability are not high on the agenda... Overall I would say it is nice for what it is.
Rooms comfortable queensize and bunk bed
Service the staff allowed us to eat (outside food) cup noodles during breakfast, together with their breakfast food. Also we went to the community food park in the evening since the resort beachfront gate closes 10pm.
Location it is easy to locate using google map, you can bring the car inside the resorts parking area.
No toiletries. Bath towel not ready upon guest check-in. Poor service. Pool not properly maintained.
Uncomfortable amenities.
We walked in here for lunch as we were in anda. It's totally disappointing, typical expectation vs reality!
The area is congested, no space to roam around.
The beach is public, and just so crowded.
We ordered for grilled tanguegue for 300.00. To our dismay, it came charred! We consumed not even 1/3 of it. So I called their attention and gave us 70.00 less of the price. The beef steak was so salty too.
Sorry, but not recommending this place at all.
I rate this place 2 stars because the place was okay. It has a pool and a white sand beach. But the facility was old, there were holes in the wall, the water in the shower was weak and cats and dogs were roaming around even when we ate. But …
Anda de Boracay has the most stunning white fine sand beach, clean and crystal clear water. You enjoy singing to sawa in their Cottage's with karaoke package good for family, friends and company outings.
I definitely WON'T recommend this resort. Poor service. Poor sanitation. The management must provide seminars for the staff atleast, seems like they don't know how to handle guests/customers properly. The experience we had was so …
